A meditation on the movements that give us a rewarding experience, as the planet moves we witness a new spectacular sunrise everyday. A sunrise saved for those who rise early to greet it. Not unlike the body as it moves we witness the rising of our spirits and have the pleasure of basking in that euphoria when we give ourselves the time and our bodies the appreciation it deserves. A modern and minimalist landscape representation focuses on the apparent limited colour palette and the under colours that were left to show through, paint strokes are applied in an expressive manner adding interest to the large areas of colour. The figure is depicted in monochrome highlighting the importance of light and shadow in the form.
